Dr Naomi Rahman

Naomi qualified from Trinity College Dublin in 2004 with an honours degree in Dentistry. She was awarded the entrance exhibitioner award in 1999 and a three year Scholarship Award in 2000.

Naomi has worked as a House Officer in the Dublin Dental School & Hospital and also in general dental practice. She was awarded the Membership of the Faculty of Dentistry by the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 2006. The following year she undertook a three year Doctorate programme in Oral Surgery in the Dublin Dental School & Hospital.

During this time she published numerous articles and has also been invited to speak at dental conferences on surgical related topics. In 2010 she was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland in Oral Surgery.

She presently teaches part time in the Oral Surgery Department of the Dublin Dental School and Hospital. Treatments provided include simple and surgical extractions, removal of wisdom teeth, intra-oral hard and soft tissue surgery, bone grafting and implant placement. Surgery is carried out under local anaesthetic, with the option of intravenous conscious sedation or general anaesthesia.

Dr. Rahman is a fully participating member with all major health insurers including VHI, Aviva, Quinn, St. Paul’s Garda Medical Aid and the ESB Medical Fund.
