Dental Surgeon

Qualified in 1973 from Dublin Dental Hospital and worked in Kent in England for 12 years. He established a large multiple dental practice there, with a commercial Dental Laboratory of ten technicians associated to it before returning to Ireland to set up the Park Clinic Dental in 1985 and its sister practice Knocklyon Dental in 1988. He has years of experience in all aspects of dentistry,and as well as being proprietor of the Park Clinic Dental and Knocklyon Dental, he is  also a Director of one of Irelands largest dental companies, Dental Medical Ireland  Ltd.(DMI).

Dr Brendan O'Connor B.Dent Sc, T.C.D.

Dental Surgeon

Qualified from Dublin Dental Hospital in 1986 achieving 1st prize in Adult Dental Health. He worked in England for 13 years before returning to Ireland and has worked in the Park Clinic Dental since then. He enjoys doing Root Canal treatments as well as general dentistry with a special interest in Composite (White) fillings .

Niall Vallely  B.Dent. Sc. (T.C.D.)

Dental Surgeon

Qualified as a Dental Surgeon from Dublin Dental Hospital, Trinity College, Dublin in 2003. His main interests are in Cosmetic fillings as well as caring for children in our practice. He also has a keen interest in treating nervous patients. Currently, he is doing various post graduate courses in Endodontics, and Implant restorations.

Dr Sarah Enright  B. Dent.Sc.(TCD)

Qualified from Dublin Dental School, Trinity College, Dublin having achieved the foundation Scholarship. She is a fully qualified Invisalign doctor and has special interest in Cosmetic Dentistry as well as treating children. She is committed to post graduate education and is currently completing a year long advanced restorative course.

Dr Ebrahim Al Awadhi   B.Dent.Sc.(TCD),M.Sc.(U.Lond), M.Orth.(RCSI), M.Orth.(RCSEng), B.A.

Orthodontist

Qualified from Dublin Dental School and Hospital in July 1998. He then went to work for 2 years in the Eastern Health Board. He completed his MFD examination in Dublin in May 2000. Later that year, he attended the Eastman Dental Institute where he completed his Masters in Orthodontics in 2002. A Membership of Orthodontics (MOrth) from  the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2003 followed. He then worked for 2 years in the Regional Orthodontic Unit in St. James Hospital in Dublin before moving back to Dublin Dental Hospital where he is currently a consultant lecturing in Orthodontics. He also maintains a part time private practice with us since 2004.

Dr Aidan Redahan  B.A. B.Dent Sc (TCD)., M.F.D.S.(RCSI) M.Dent.Ch(Ortho)., M.Orth(RCSEdin).

Orthodontist

Qualified as a Dental Surgeon from Dublin Dental Hospital, Trinity College with 1st class honours in 1998 and a prestiguous Trinity scholarship was awarded to him during his studies. He worked in hospital, community and private practice after graduation including 9 months in Australia. He continued with higher education and spent a further 3 years in Trinity College specialising in Orthodontics and finishing with a Masters qualification from Trinity and also a Masters awarded by the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh in 2004. He has specialised in Orthodontics for the past 7 years and has a broad range of experience treating all age categories with a variety of modern orthodontic teshniques.

Dr Kevin Gilmore BDS,MFDS RCS(Edin), MSc, M Clin Ch, FFD RCSI (Pros)

Practice Limited to Prosthodontics and Implant Dentistry           

Qualified as a Dental Surgeon from the  Victoria University, Manchester  in 1992. In 1998 he completed a restorative MSC at Newcastle University, and following one year as a restorative registrar at the Dublin Dental Hospital, he received his MFDS from the College of Surgeons Edinburgh. He completed his specialist training in Prosthodontics in 2002 in the Dublin Dental Hospital, and in 2003 he received the Fellowship in Prosthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland. Since 2002 he has been working as a prosthodontist in a multidisciplinary practice in the Galway Clinic and here at the Park Clinic Dental. Since January 2009, he has also started practising prosthodontics as well from 14 Harcourt Street in Dublin.

Dr Dermot Murnane B.A., B.Dent Sc., M.Dent. Ch.,F.D.S., R.C.S.I.

Specialist Oral Surgeon

Qualified as a Dental Surgeon in Trinity College Dublin in 1992. After several years in general practice, he returned to postgraduate training ,spending 3 years in facial surgery in England. He commenced a Masters Degree in Oral Surgery based between The Dublin Dental Hospital and The Mater Hospital qualifing with a M.Dent. Ch.. In the same year he was awarded a Fellowship in Oral Surgery by The Royal College of Surgeons in England.

He currently has a public appointment in St. James Hospital treating children and young adults under sedation. He attends the Park Clinic Dental on Wednesdays offering  an on demand same day service under sedation.

Dr Rona Leith B.A., B.Dent.Sc., MFD (RCSI), D.Ch.Dent. (U.Dubl.)

Paediatric (Childrens) Dentist

Qualified as a Dental Surgeon with first class honours from Trinity College, Dublin in 2000. She was awarded the prize for the Best Overall Student by the Irish Dental Association and the prize for the Best Student in Child Dental Health by the Irish Dental Council.

Following a House Officer year in the Dublin Dental Hospital, she worked in private practice for a number of years in Dublin. She received her MFD from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 2004.

In 2009, she completed a 3 year Doctorate degree in Paediatric Dentistry in the Dublin Dental Hospital, graduating with first class honours and receiving the Dean’s Prize for the final examinations.

She currently works in the Paediatric Department of the Dublin Dental Hospital and here at The Park Clinic Dental where she offers comprehensive dental care for children in a relaxed and child-friendly environment.

Ms Sharon McGovern

Dental Hygienist

Sharon, our hygienist qualified in London and worked in Harley Street before coming to Ireland. She joined the Park Clinic Dental on moving here and has worked with us since then. She specialises in Bleaching / Whitening of teeth in the clinic as well as treating all patients who require regular dental hygiene treatment and diet control.

Gillian Martin

Qualified as a Dental Nurse from Dublin Dental Hospital. Her main interests are in Crown and Bridge and Implants . She also deals with the day to day patient queries within the practice. She is fully trained in CPR.

Faye Carney

Qualified as a Dental Nurse from Dublin Dental Hospital. Her main ninterest are in Orthodontics and Sterilisation within the Practice. She is fullty trained in CPR.

Caroline Molloy

Qualified as a Dental Nurse from Dublin Dental Hospital. Her special interests are Oral Surgery, Orthodontics and Sterilisation. She is fully trained in CPR.

Susie Rojack

Our trainee Dental Nurse ,she is now doing her Dental Nurses course in Dublin Dental Hospital at Trinity College. Sterilisation of  all instruments, infection control of all surgeries and  stock control  are her main duties. She also assists the hygienist in her duties.

Finnola Jones

Qualified as a Dental Nurse from Dublin Dental Hospital and works part time with us.She is fully trained in CPR.

As well as being involved in a local group of Practice Managers, who meet reqularly, she holds a diploms in Human Resource Management
